Intent to Enroll Mechanics
self-cancellation and change mat is prohibited: bawal na mag cancel ng slot sa crs. CRS is able to track down if a student cancels his/her own slot and they will impose a penalty.
Cancellation of slots will only be possible if a professor/RA/staff cancels them for you. So to cancel the slot, have your adviser cancel it for you or go the the department of the enlisted class and have them cancel it for you.
So be very sure of your slots before signifying your intent to enroll.
Written below is the official statement from CRS:
- A schedule will be set for purging of “unaffirmed” enlistments (at 5:30 P.M. on Nov 5, the third day of the registration week).
- All paid enlistments will be safe from the purging.
- All enlistments that are not yet paid should be “affirmed” before the scheduled purging.
- The student must log into the CRS site and enter into the preenlistment module.
- The student must cancel all of his/her enlisted classes that he/she is not decided on taking.
- The student must click on the check box that says “I signify my intention to enroll in the classes already granted to me…”
- When the time of the scheduled purging comes, E-prerog will be temporarily closed and all class slots that have not been paid and were not affirmed through the “signification of intention to enroll” will be purged.
- All classes with slots freed up by the purging will be open again for the enlistment.
- On the fourth day of the registration period (Nov 6), all students who have signified their intention to enroll can then resume with their enlistment (thru E-prerog). However, classes that have been “affirmed” through the signification of intent to enroll will be regarded as FINAL, which means that the student should no longer cancel any of these classes (whether through E-prerog or change of Mat), otherwise the student will be penalized during pre-enlistment of the next semester (1st sem 2009-2010).
- The student’s adviser cancels the student’s class because of unsatisfied prerequisites.
- The College cancels the student’s major classes because the student could not be readmitted to his/her degree program anymore.
- The class was dissolved.
